INKTOBER 2018
For the third straight year I was able to complete 31 drawings for this year's Inktober. This year was especially difficult than other years. While this event comes with its usual issues, usually lack of free time or managing the the scope and scale of pieces, this year's was difficult for me since it immediately started after I had just completed moving into a new home and was still tasked with unpacking items and engaging in a Tetris-like mission to find places for my items to fit. Which is what made my pre-planning of small 5" x 4" sized drawings from film scenes related to this year's prompts such a life saver. Anything to create less stress is a good thing. I decided to do scenes from films to give myself more opportunity to study framing and other aspects of cinematography. I'm a big fan of packing in learning with other tasks. Do I feel like I learned a lot on that front? Eh? But I learned other unintended lessons, so nothing lost. I'll leave a guide for the images and what film their from, as well as their prompt. I did miss a prompt day though, and ended up doing a none-prompt drawing image.
